Version 1.6 🖋️

In today's update we've added the ability for you to sign any document "on the fly" via OPEX. Yep, you can now sign NDA's, deeds and just about anything via OPEX right now - why not login and give it a go?

Getting Started

You'll find a new "Documents" item in your contracts menu, this menu item is only available to "Law Firm" users (developers, agents and financiers do not have access to Documents).

To sign any generic document navigate to "Documents" and click "New Document".

Details

The document wizard only has three steps, the first of which is to add:

  • The name of the document and your reference (to make them easy to find in the future)

  • Details of each party (someone who will sign) to the document

Documents

On the second step you can upload your documents, they must be PDF files and you can add as many as you like.

Once uploaded, use the + icon to add merge fields and signature panels to each document as needed.

Preview & Signing

From the preview step click the "Sign" button, just as you would for a contract, to send the document out for signing. Each party will receive an email and be prompted to sign the document.

The "Status" panel will update throughout the signing process, just as it does for contracts.

When all parties have signed, the final document will be distributed to all parties, including a "Signature Audit Report". The person who initiated the process is also notified when the document is fully executed.
